The work of the NUTRISAM group is based on cohort studies in different population groups throughout life (pregnant women, lactating women, school-age children, adolescents, etc.) and intervention studies.
The study of the frequency and distribution of health problems, their risk factors (nutritional status, eating behaviors and habits, physical activity, air pollution and exposure to toxins, stress, mental health status, gender, socioeconomic environment ..), and its impact on mental health.
The promotion of health and optimal neurodevelopment, the prevention of mental illnesses and disorders and the development of new interventions to change behaviors, lifestyle habits, etc. and improving social contexts related to public health and mental well-being.
